Comment jouer Overpass

Reserve

A map that demands rhythm and discipline. CT aggression is common here, and punishing an overcommitment at Toilets or Monster pays off more than a flawless execution.

Teams that have mastered their utility players and mid-round play have consistently outperformed there.
1
The defect

Two players heading toward Long and Party or Toilets, one at the Connector, and two at the entrance to Monster.

2
Split A

Smokes Bank and Truck, a Molotov on Flowers, and simultaneous attacks by Long and Toilets to break through the defense both high and low.

3
Monster et Short

"Smokes Heaven" and "Sandbags," then enter from both sides at the same time.

4
Fake A, rush B

Utilities on Bank and Truck, two players shown on Long, then a run by Monster before Heaven regains position.

5
Lurking

Upper Park is the route the player takes when the team heads to B.

Positions AWP

A LongCT · covers the approach past the tree
HeavenCT · can view the entire Site B and its entries
BankCT · deep angle on A
WaterT · toward Approach B once Monster is contested

Key Utilities

  • Use Smoke Heaven on every B attack, and repeat after the cooldown
  • Smoke Sandbags to split B in half
  • Smokes Bank and Truck for A
  • Molotov on the default cases and on Flowers
  • Molotov near the pillar

Where to Plant

A · DefaultAs seen from the outside, the retake must win a rally.
A · TruckThe truck breaks the long line.
B · PilierCut off Heaven's angle; the CT has to go down.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Cross the park on dry land instead of going through Toilets
  • Going too far in Monster without support
  • Forgetting to reapply Heaven smoke after application

As a pro

Overpass was removed from the official map pool on July 8, 2026, and replaced by Cache. It remains playable in competitive play as a reserve map.
